Section Schedule THEA 110 Improvisational Techniques I This course is a study of improvisation that is rooted in Viola Spolin's work. Students will work individually, in small groups, and as a single ensemble to experience the process of improvising on stage. Improvisational concepts such as give and take, surrender, support, mirror, explore and heighten, environment, object work, scenic structure, beats and editing, character and choices, will be explored in depth and applied in scenes.
